Laborer

Job Type:  Full-Time


Kurilla Contracting is looking for a hardworking, dependable Laborer to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, show up ready to get the job done, and enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

  • What This Role Entails

    As a Laborer, you will assist operators and pipe layers with the installation of pipe and underground utilities. This role includes checking elevations, supporting excavation crews, and performing manual labor efficiently and safely. You may also operate equipment such as a skid steer or front-end loader as needed.

  • What a Typical Day Looks Like

    Each day varies depending on the project, but you can expect to work alongside experienced operators and crew members on excavation, sewer, and water installation projects. You will assist with pipe installation, help maintain grade and elevation accuracy, perform erosion control tasks, and ensure the job site remains organized and safe. Summer hours can be long, and occasional weekend work may be required to keep projects on schedule.

    • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
    • Be willing to work long summer hours
    • Work safely and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Assist pipe layers with installation
    • Perform manual labor related to excavation, erosion control, and sewer and water projects
    • Check elevations and support grade control
    • Operate skid steer or front-end loader when needed
    • Support operators and crew members to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Required Experience & Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • CDL preferred
    • Experience in excavation strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with skid steers and laser levels
  • Work Schedule

    Full-time position with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.

    • Starting pay: $29 – $40 per hour, based on experience

Class A Dump Truck Driver

Job Type:  Part-Time


Kurilla Contracting is looking for a dependable Class A Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This is a part-time position with variable hours, occasional after-hours equipment hauling, and competitive pay.

  • What This Role Entails

    As a Class A Dump Truck Driver, you will safely transport materials and equipment to and from job sites while maintaining a clean driving record and following all safety requirements.

  • What a Typical Day Looks Like

    Your day will vary depending on project needs, but you can expect to transport materials and equipment between job sites, work alongside the project crew, and help keep jobs moving safely and efficiently. Some after-hours equipment hauling may be required.

  • Overall Expectations

    • Show up on time and ready to work
    • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
    • Be willing to work long summer hours
    • Work safely and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Operate a Class A dump truck safely and responsibly
    • Haul materials and equipment to job sites
    • Haul equipment after hours occasionally
    • Perform basic vehicle safety checks
    • Maintain a clean driving record
    • Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
  • Required Experience & Qualifications

    • Valid Class A CDL
    • Clean driving record
    • Reliable and dependable
    • Ability to work variable hours
    • Ability to occasionally haul equipment after hours
  • Work Schedule

    Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week on average. Hours may vary based on project needs.

  • Compensation & Benefits

    $25–$32 per hour, based on experience.
